Driven by an undeniable mandate received while evangelizing, Pastor David Fisher recognized a critical spiritual void in the community—the urgent need for an authentic, bilingual ministry where language would no longer barrier the Gospel.  Moving in faith in 2019, under the spiritual covering and mentorship of Pastor Philip Davis, he and his cherished wife, Pastor Miriam Rodriguez Fisher, launched a foundational Bible study.

 Academic & Ministerial Excellence

Equipped to lead with both spiritual authority and sharp academic preparation, their ministry is backed by a robust array of theological and counseling studies. Pastor David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, paired with a Master’s degree in Christian Family Counseling while Pastor Miriam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry and Counseling. Committed to lifelong growth and the highest standard of scriptural leadership, Pastor David is also currently furthering his education with the Assemblies of God. 

 Humble Beginnings

Their first physical altar was forged in humility at the local Boys & Girls Club in Bethlehem and proceeded with a raw garage space at The Nehemiah Wall, Ministry transformed by prayer into a holy chapel. For six months, this small environment burned with revival. When the physical structure could no longer contain the harvest of souls, Pastor David anchored his heart in the sovereignty of God, trusting the vision would speak in its appointed time.

 Providential Steps

The Lord’s strategic direction manifested unexpectedly while Pastor David was at a local pizzeria. An email from Share the Power revealed a church facility offering space for lease. Though competing interests sought the same doors, God held the entrance open exclusively for this assignment. In a season where the world was shaken by the COVID-19 pandemic, this sacred sanctuary stood as an immovable pillar of hope, stability, and enduring faith for the congregation. 

 A Vision Fulfilled

Years of fierce, devoted service as Campus Pastors within the Greater Shiloh Church lineage culminated in a divine transition. On the sacred day of Pentecost in June 2024, backed by the prophetic blessings of Pastors Philip and Kristina Davis and the global church family, they broke new ground.  They officially transitioned into Church Planters and Senior Pastors establishing Alpha & Omega Community Church Bethlehemas a sovereign, thriving lighthouse for the region.

The Approved Workmanship: One-Year Bible Institute Milestone

Today, Senior Pastors David and Miriam Fisher are actively building a generational legacy of discipleship. Celebrating the one-year anniversary of their Bible Institute, they are currently sharpening their first cohort of ten dedicated students and church members. Standing firmly upon the mandate of 2 Timothy 2:15, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”, Pastors David and Miriam format a standard of spiritual excellence. No longer just gathering a crowd, they are building an army, raising up authentic, trained leaders to carry the fire of the Gospel into the next generation.
